Where the materials come from
The wood for the wood tiles comes from European forests. The ceramic tiles come from long-established manufacturers in Spain and Portugal, where the art of tile-making has been cultivated for centuries. The mineral grout contains no solvents. No material we can't name.
Handmade in Berlin
Every Cube is made individually in the workshop in Berlin-Friedrichshain. That means: no mass production, no long supply chains from Asia, no outsourcing. For customers in Berlin, short distances. For everyone else: a piece of furniture that knows where it comes from.
Repairable instead of replaceable
If a tile breaks or a corner gets damaged, it's not a total loss. Individual tiles can be reordered and replaced. We can touch up signs of use on wood tiles on request. Repairability is one of the most underrated aspects of sustainability in the furniture industry.

Can damaged tiles be replaced?
Yes. Just email us a photo and your model — in most cases we still have the tile in stock or can reorder it.
Is a Cube ecologically better than a regular table?
It depends on what you compare it with. Compared to chipboard furniture, clearly yes — no glue mixtures, no rapid wear, no disposal after a few years. Compared to a locally made solid wood table, the differences are smaller.
