The material

The Cube 40 is the sofa variant. At 40 cm high it sits at armrest level – perfect for glasses, books and remotes. The ceramic tiles make it easy to care for and moisture-resistant, while the grout creates visual depth.

8 tile colours and 10 grout colours make hundreds of possible combinations. Whether monochrome in pure white, high-contrast in Charcoal-Ivory or soft in greige-Sand – the Cube 40 Ceramic can be matched to any room.

Like all COLB Cubes, the 40 is completely hand-laid and grouted. No two pieces are alike. Delivery within Germany & Europe (Shipping: Germany €15, rest of the EU from €25), collection in Berlin possible.

Sofa side table

At exactly 40 cm sofa height – robust, easy to care for, colourful. Glasses, books, remote: the ceramic surface handles everything.

Plant stand

The height brings plants to the foreground. The ceramic grid creates a beautiful contrast with organic forms and green tones.

Standalone furniture piece

Two or three Cube 40s side by side – as a sideboard replacement or room divider. Each colour combination makes its own statement.

This Cube is made to order in our Berlin workshop. Production time approx. 3 weeks (21 days), then 5–10 days delivery (Germany) or 7–14 days (EU). Shipping per piece: Germany €15, rest of the EU from €25 (depends on country, see the shipping overview).

How do I care for the Cube?

Wiping with a damp cloth is enough. Ceramic tiles and mineral grout are waterproof and insensitive to common household cleaners.

Is the Cube heat resistant?

Yes, fired ceramic is heat resistant. You can place hot cups or trays directly on it without damaging the surface.

Can I return the Cube?

This Cube is only made after your individual configuration. For individually configured Cubes there is therefore, pursuant to § 312g (2) no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), no statutory right of withdrawal. Your statutory rights in the event of defects remain unaffected. See § 7 of the T&Cs for details.
